The State Key Laboratory of Scientific and Engineering Computing (LSEC) is located in the Institute of Computational Mathematics and Scientific/Engineering Computing of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. It was founded in 1993 by the China Ministry of Science and Technology, with the first director Professsor Zhong-ci Shi.
